The Power of Divine Location (Operating In the Right Place)

You cannot achieve much this year without understanding the mystery of your PERSON, PURPOSE and PLACE.

God who created you a person has a purpose for you. However, that purpose cannot be fulfilled until you find your Place.

Every destiny has an appointed Place failure which it cannot be accomplished.

Quite unfortunate to observe today that a lot of gifted and anointed individuals have not taken the time to consider the place of DIVINE LOCATION in their quest for an accomplishment of their Vision. Let it be known that any Vision without the right Location will end up in Frustration.

Let me quickly say here that God's plan for any person is tied to an appointed PLACE. I have often said that God can call ANYWHERE, but He does not bless EVERYWHERE. If God calls you Anywhere He has Somewhere in mind to bless you or use you.

I think it is a part of your responsibility to locate where God has prepared for you. Location is important in determining the success of our assignment or work. Anytime you discover that you have done your best in terms of effort based on knowledge, hardworking, faith, patience and there seem to be no commensurate result; check out if you are at the right location.

Nothing frustrates Grace and hardworking like wrong location.

Look at God's dealing with Abraham, the father of Faith. The command God gave to Abraham after He called him has so much to teach us on the Power of divine Location. See what He told Abraham.

'The LORD had said to Abram, 'Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you. I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.' (Genesis 12: 1 - 2 NIV).

The big question here is why did God not bless Abram where He called him or met him? Why the command to Abram to change his Location? I repeat God can call Anywhere, but He does not bless Everywhere!

Whatever God has given to you there is equally where He wants to use it. You have an appointed place! The earlier you find your place the better for you. Apple fruit does not grow very well everywhere. That is why not every country export apple. The cotton plant does not grow well everywhere in the world. Each plant or mineral resource has a location of comparative advantage. I mean where it does better. It follows, therefore, you as a person has a place where your gift, talent, ability, skill, knowledge, effort can function better.

Stop wasting your energy, ability, anointing, a skill where you have marginal result. Go to where you have a comparative advantage, competitive edge, accelerated efficiency. Hi, you are needed most somewhere! This is your year! No more minimal result; it is Optimal result.

Look at the Parable of the sower in Luke 8: 5 - 8. It talked about a farmer who went out to sow seed. The same seed fell on four (4) different locations:

(i)The wayside

(ii) The rock

(iii) The thorn

(iv) The good ground.

Because of difference in Location, there was difference in result (Productivity). The same seed that could not do anything on the way side, and could not do much on the rock and thorny soil turned out to bring forth 100 times on the good soil.

'Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up and yielded a crop, a hundred times more than was sown.' (Luke 8: 8 NIV).

Who told you Location or environment is not important to the result you can produce in your endeavour? Are you sure God is not telling you now it is time to quit from that place and change location in that business, job, relationship, fellowship?

There are certain things that can never happen in your life, business, marriage, career, finances, job until you change location. Somebody reading this piece, yours can be to leave your country, state, community to another place. Don't ask too many questions. Just obey like Abram and see the blessing.

Dr. Mike Murdock has put it in another form by saying, leave where you are tolerated to where you are celebrated.

Stop frustrating your gift or talent in the wrong place! When you get to your real place or location in life nobody will tolerate you; everybody will celebrate you. Your little effort will yield so much result. Israel as a nation and a people had to leave Egypt for Canaan - the Promised land. That was her actual location. That movement was called Exodus. And when are you embarking on your own Exodus? If God has said Move, do not be afraid to move.

I see your story changing this year! This one step could be your turning point. Somebody is saying but it is not easy to move, sir! It requires money, logistics, support, connection etc. Yes, it does. But remember where there is a will there is a way! The greatest thing you need for any 'Exodus' is FAITH.

I Pray for you as you make this decision this year. May the LORD lead and direct you, guide and instruct you, provide and support you. Above all, May His Grace see you through. Waiting to hear your testimony. You are favored!
