I woke up early this morning with a strong meditation and deep reflection on why so many people miss out on so many good things like help, favor, success, promotion, connection, a solution from God and even men.
Many believe that the devil is solely responsible for all the frustrations, setback, failure, stagnation and disappointments that they suffer. Yes, the devil is wicked granted; but remember that wickedness is the devil expressing his nature.
And I think everything is permitted to express his or its nature the devil inclusive.
But let me tell you this beloved, the devil is not why you cannot get what has been destined for you. If God has promised it He has prepared it. And if He has prepared it He has planned it, and if He has planned it He can provide it. And the devil cannot stop God in your life without your permission.
The Big Problem most people have in succeeding wherever they are and in whatever they do is the attitude of INGRATITUDE.
Behind most disfavor, struggle, lack of support, frustration and too much enemies around is INGRATITUDE.
I call it the DEVIL's ATTITUDE and it is the worst Attitude.
It has been said that Attitude determines Altitude.
But I want to say that GRATITUDE determines ALTITUDE and LATITUDE.
Have you not heard that nothing is as urgent as returning Thanks? Learn to be grateful and appreciative.
Do it sincerely and timely. I mean, do it affectionately and passionately. Let the person you are appreciating feel it. God not only commands us to be grateful He demands it from all. Jesus healed 10 lepers in Luke 17: 17 and Ingratitude got 9 of them into trouble. When 1 one of them returned to him with Gratitude Jesus had to ask 'Where you not 10 that I healed; where are the 9?'
Let me say this quickly, where your Gratitude stops is where your last help stops. You are not entitled to another blessing until you have well appreciated the previous. In Nigeria there is a tribe that has always excelled in terms of collective Success and Progress more than others - the Yoruba tribe from the West.
The secret is nothing but their Culture of liberal and addicted Gratitude. It happens that a Yoruba person you did something for after instant appreciation when you call him or meet her weeks or months later, he or she will still be thanking you for what you did for him or her the last time. What a virtue!
With good ATTITUDE of GRATITUDE you can succeed where others fail, enjoy where they suffer, fly over enemies where they are trapped. I will be updating you with SIGNS OF INGRATITUDE in my next post.
